Obituary

Andrew B. Dickinson, 66, of Windham, New Hampshire, passed away on Monday, February 16, 2026, at Boston Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts. He was born on April 13, 1959, in Sacramento, California, the son of Teru Dickinson and the late Hubert Dickinson.

Andy graduated from the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis in 1981 and proudly served in the United States Navy, earning the rank of Lieutenant. He was a devoted husband and a proud father who raised two sons with love and dedication. Andy was also a beloved grandfather to nine grandchildren who absolutely adored their Pop Pop. He was one of the most important people in their lives, and their bond with him was immeasurable.

Andy was a truly selfless man who devoted nearly all of his time to caring for the people he loved. He was always thinking of others—how they were doing, what they needed, and how he could help. Pop Pop had a wonderful sense of humor, always making people laugh and ensuring that those around him felt happy and cared for. As a final act of selflessness, he donated his organs so that others might live.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 41 years, Susan (Calcott) Dickinson of Windham; two sons, Joseph Krug and Kevin Krug, both of Windham; nine grandchildren, Lane, Madison, Anya, Paris, Riley, Summer, Sydney, Gabriel and Colton; as well as a brother, John Dickinson.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, February 23, 2026 from 5 – 7pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday February 24th at 11:00am in the New Plains Cemetery, Ministerial Road, Windham.
