
Rhonda Chabot, 60, of Woonsocket, Rhode Island, passed away on February 13, 2026. Born on May 26, 1965, in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, she was the beloved daughter of the late Theodore Miller and Shirley (Simpson) Miller.
Rhonda was known for her big heart and unwavering dedication to caring for others. Her gentle spirit and caring heart made her a cherished presence in the lives of all who knew and loved her.
She had a deep love for the beach, where she found peace in the sound of the waves and joy in the feel of the sand beneath her feet. When she wasn’t by the shore, she enjoyed spending her time creating diamond art and walking her beloved Truffles.
Above all else, Rhonda’s greatest pride and joy was her family. She is survived by her loving companion, Wayne Desmarais of Woonsocket; her children, Stephanie Straight of Woonsocket; John Straight and his companion, April Higaonna, of Blackstone, Massachusetts; Randi Jo Salvas and her husband, Bryant Salvas, of Woodstock, Connecticut; and Brittney Landry and her husband, Cody Landry, of Blackstone, Massachusetts. She also leaves behind nine cherished grandchildren and her sister, Bettie Corbin.
In addition to her parents, Rhonda was predeceased by her siblings, Theodore Miller Jr., James Miller, Donald Emory, and Diane Paquin.
Rhonda’s legacy of love, compassion, and quiet strength will forever remain a shining light in the hearts of her family and friends.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, February 25, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Menard-Lacouture Funeral Home, 127 Carrington Avenue, Woonsocket, Rhode Island.
