Obituary

Khai Tuan Nguyen, 58, of Worcester died Tuesday, February 10th in UMASS Memorial Medical Center – University Campus surrounded by his loving family. He leaves his companion of 20 years, Tammy Le; his son, Timmy Nguyen; his sisters, Tam Nguyen and her husband, Tham Khong; and a niece, Diane Khong all of Worcester.
He was born in Vietnam the son of Xuan Nguyen and Diep Ha and immigrated to the United States in 1994 in search of opportunities for his family. Through determination and hard work, he built a life rooted in dedication, resilience, and quiet strength.
For many years, Khai worked as an assembler, a role he carried out with pride and reliability. He was known for his steady work ethic and commitment, rarely missing a day and always doing his part.
Outside of work, Khai for joy in life’s simple and meaningful routines. He treasured his daily coffee gatherings with friends at Dippin Donuts and IKrave, where conversations, laughter, and companionship filled his days. These moments were a special part of his life and a testament to the friendships he valued so deeply.
Above all, Khai’s greatest happiness was his family, especially his son. He expressed his love in the most heartfelt way he knew how: by cooking meals and sharing time together. Preparing food was not just a task but an act of care, pride and devotion.
He will be remembered for his hardworking spirit, his loyalty to friends, and the love he poured into his family.
His visitation is Thursday, February 19th from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. His funeral service will be on Friday, February 20th at 9:00 a.m. in the funeral home followed by cremation at 10:00 a.m. in Rural Crematory, 180 Grove Street, Worcester.
