
Peter J. Mlaguzi II, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away surrounded by the love of his family. Born in Handeni, Tanga, Tanzania,
Peter lived a life filled with joy, dedication, and a deep sense of purpose that touched everyone around him.
A banker by profession, Peter was known for his integrity, diligence, and compassion. He approached his work not just as a career, but as a way to serve others—earning the respect and admiration of colleagues and clients alike. His warmth and laughter could brighten any workplace, leaving a lasting impression wherever he went.
Peter had an extraordinary gift for making people smile. His laughter was infectious, his energy uplifting, and his kindness boundless. He never missed a chance to bring joy to others, often turning ordinary moments into lasting memories through his humor and generosity of spirit.
He is survived by his loving wife Liz, his devoted daughter Irene, his son Peter III, his adored granddaughter Shani, and his caring sister Mary. To each of them, Peter was not only family, but a source of strength, wisdom, and unconditional love.
Peter’s life stands as a testament to what it means to live fully—with heart, humility, and laughter. His presence will be deeply missed, but his legacy of love, joy, and integrity will continue to shine through the lives he so deeply touched.
Visitation will be held at the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Friday February 20th from 9:00am-10:30am, followed by a prayer service in the funeral home at 10:30am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Interment will be in Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden.
