Margaret “Peggy” (Richard) Medeiros (59) of Brockton passed away on February 13th at Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital. She was the loving wife of the late Brian Medeiros.
Born in Boston, she was the cherished daughter of the late Wayne Richard and Shirley (Malone) Richard. Peggy worked as a cashier for Market Basket, where she enjoyed seeing familiar faces and connecting with customers each day. She was a vibrant and warm-hearted woman who truly loved socializing with her family and friends. Peggy adored the color purple, embraced life with enthusiasm, and shared her love freely with those around her.
Deeply devoted to her faith, Peggy found joy in simple pleasures — trying new restaurants, curling up under a cozy blanket, and watching her favorite shows. Her laughter, kindness, and loving spirit will be missed immensely by all who knew her.
Peggy is survived by her four children, Amanda, Christina, Becky, and Brian; her siblings, Paul and his wife Meghan, “Buddy” Wayne, Beth, and Lynda; many beloved nieces and nephews including David, Camden, Brody, Honor, Brittany, and Brady; and her cherished grandson, Nathan.
Following cremation, services will be held at the convenience of the family.
