Farron Eugene O’Neal, born July 28, 1957, in Tifton, Georgia, passed away on February 7, 2026, surrounded by love, leaving behind a legacy of devotion, strength, hard work, and an unwavering love for his family.
He was born to Melba Luke O’Neal and Lonnie Eugene O’Neal and grew into a man known for his larger-than-life presence and even larger heart. A skilled journeyman welder by trade, Farron took pride in honest work and the craftsmanship of building things that lasted—much like the life and family he built. Though he carried the rugged spirit of a biker and looked like a bear to many, to those who knew him best—especially his daughters and grandchildren—he was nothing more than a gentle, loving teddy bear. Farron never missed a chance to say “I love you,” and he meant it every single time.
Farron was a proud and devoted father to his two daughters, Beth O’Neal and Rebecca Price, whom he loved fiercely. Being their daddy was one of the greatest joys of his life. He also dearly loved his sons-in-law, Lee Price and Mark Wood, welcoming them not just into his family, but into his heart as his own.
His pride multiplied when he became a Pa. He adored his grandchildren and cherished every moment with them. He is lovingly remembered by his grandchildren: Joshua Hensley, Jason Price, Cayman Price, and Marley Price, children of Rebecca Price; and Jaxson O’Neal and Christopher Wood, children of Beth O’Neal. To them, he was a source of comfort, laughter, protection, and unconditional love. Farron is also survived by his sister, Sharon Senkbeil, with whom he shared a lifelong bond.
Farron’s life was defined by loyalty, family, hard work, and love spoken freely and often. His presence will be deeply missed, but his words, his hugs, and the way he made those he loved feel safe will live on forever in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
He was a wonderful daddy, a devoted Pa, a loving brother, and a man whose love will never fade.
A celebration of life for Farron will be held Tuesday February 17, 2026, 6:00 PM at Jonesborough Funeral Home.
