Eric R. Kerr, age 38, of Lakeville, passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at Saint Anne’s Hospital in Fall River.
Born in Melrose, MA on January 3, 1988, he was a loving son of Deborah L. (Taylor) Kerr of Lakeville and the late Edward R. Kerr.
Eric grew up in Melrose and was a 2007 graduate of Melrose High School. He continued his education, attending Campus College in Lynn and also in Hyannis. Prior to living in Lakeville, he resided in Hyannis and Melrose.
Eric loved spending time with his family and being a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Middleboro. He was a passionate New England sports fan and was looking forward to the Patriots winning the Super Bowl on February 8th. Eric also enjoyed music, singing and being a lifelong fan of wrestling.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his devoted sisters, Shannon Kerr of the U.S. Virgin Islands, Evelyn Columbo of Yarmouth and Sonia Mahoney of Texas and her late husband John Mahoney. He was the cherished uncle of Angela, Hector, Olivia and Selena and the great uncle of Shanwadel and Sincere.
Burial will take place privately at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne, where Eric will join his late father Edward. Visiting hours are omitted.
