Sheila Diane Harris, 60, of Ty Ty passed away Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Dorminey Medical Center in Fitzgerald. Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 6, 2026, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Rickey Wells officiating. Ms. Harris will be laid to rest at a later date. The family will receive friends on Friday, February 6, 2026, at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of the service.
Born June 24, 1965, in Tifton, Ms. Harris was the daughter of the late Junior Harris and Hazel Napier Harris. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Ronnie Harris, Eddie Harris, and Jeffery Harris. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy and she loved them dearly. She was an excellent homemaker, who loved to cook and clean. Her hobbies were arranging flowers and making crafts, and she loved traveling to the beach. She adored her fur babies, Snickers and Abby. She was a member of New Covenant Church in Tifton.
Ms. Harris is survived by one son, Jody Joyner (Jessica Young) of Nashville, Tennessee; one daughter, Kimberly Dorsey (Stephen) of Tifton; five grandchildren, Kassidy D. Boatner, Matthew E. Kennedy Jr., Alana E. Stowe, Shawn Mary-Louise Joyner and Bo Edward Joyner; and several nieces and nephews.
