
BRENDA BOWSER OBITUARY
Brenda (Greig) Bowser, 66, of Saltsburg, PA passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at Forbes Hospital in Monroeville, PA.
The daughter of William S. and Marie (Baker) Greig, she was born in Meyersdale, PA.
Brenda was a graduate of Lewisburg Area High School and attended IUP.
On August 21, 1982, she married Raymond L. Bowser and they have shared over forty-three years of marriage together.
Brenda retired from Diamond Drug after working for eighteen years as a Senior Accounts Payable representative. She also worked at Cornerstone Gardens in Clarksburg, PA, where she used her talents of flower gardening and designing.
She was a “Ray of Sunshine” and a gentle loving soul, who never had a mean word. Brenda never passed up a sweet treat or going to a casino. She was a wonderful loving wife, mother and grandmother and the life of the party at gatherings. Brenda welcomed all of her daughter’s friends as if they were her own and had countless friends who considered her family.
Brenda is survived by her loving husband Raymond; her three daughters: Jessica Hughes and husband Wesley of Mount Morris, PA; Kelsey Claar and husband Jordan of Boca Raton, FL and Emily Bowser and husband Garrett Barna of Salt Lake City, UT; her two grandsons: Cameron and Cole Hughes and expected grandson whom Brenda affectionally called “Little Peanut”; her siblings: Deborah Fike and Husband Jim of Raeford, NC and Douglas Greig and wife Kathy of Christiana, PA along with her three legged grand cat named June and her Airedale Terrier Eddy whom she adored.
Family and friends will be received from 2-4:00 p.m. and 6-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at the Rairigh Funeral Home, Ltd. in Hillsdale, PA. On Wednesday, February 4, 2026 an 11:00 a.m. funeral service will be held at the funeral home with Rev. Daniel Satler officiating.
Interment will take place at McDowell Cemetery in Clymer, PA.
