
Rosita Joseph, lovingly known to her family as “TaTa” passed away peacefully on January 24 at 5:00 a.m., surrounded by love and good care by her family She was born on March 1, 1937, in Limbé, a commune of Cap-Haïtien in northern Haiti. A woman of deep faith, Rosita was a devoted Baptist whose life reflected humility, love, and generosity. "She was married to Fontilus Milien until his passing in 2005 in Boston."She loved and was loved by her children: Simone Milien, Andre Milien, Maude Felix, and Carline Milien and our late Aunt Gladys Jerome that also passed that loved her Dearly ; and her grandchildren: Stephane Prevot, Gregory Pelerin, Gladimyr Prevot, Rodelyne Acevedo, Jeff Milien, and Christopher Milien,Elijah Acevedo, Elena Acevedo, Ella Acevedo, Mateo Pelerin,Johvyka Prevot , Guilmene Prevot, Nerlande Joseph, Januel Saint Amour , Jamaina Saint amour, Youvens Cadet, Malherbe Felix, Daniel Jerome, Mia Pelerin, and Anne Boubert; All of them brought her immense joy and pride. She often lived by the saying “Fè pa fè twòp,” a reflection of her wisdom that GOD is always there watching over of all his children and will always protect them .Rosita was an excellent mother and grandmother, and her family was the center of her world. She showed her love through giving; always putting others before herself. She especially cherished traveling to Haiti, Boston and New York , by spending meaningful time with her daughters and Son and grandchildren, creating memories filled with warmth, laughter, and care.Her life was a testimony of faith in action, service to others, and unconditional love for her family. She will be remembered for her kindness, her generosity, and the grace with which she lived each day.Rosita Joseph will forever carry love in the family hearts.Rosita has gone to rest with the Lord, her legacy of love, faith, and family devotion will live on forever.
Family and friends are invited to attend the viewing hour on Saturday February 7, 2026 from 8:30-9:30 AM followed by a Religious Service from 9:30-11 AM in First Haitian Baptist, Church, 397 Blue Hill Ave, Dorchester, MA. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, 45 Fairview Ave, Hyde Park, MA. 02136
