Joseph J. Blasetti “Joe” age 85, of Abington, passed away on January 22, 2026, at Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital. He was the husband of Brenda L. (Remick) Blasetti. They were together for twenty-six years and married for nineteen of those years.
Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Angelo and Yolanda (Romano) Blasetti.
Joe worked as an underground splicer for National Grid for many years. After his retirement from National Grid, he worked at Wal-Mart in both Massachusetts and Florida.
Mr. Blasetti was extremely outgoing, sociable and had a warm personality. He enjoyed candlepin bowling, being outside, especially gardening and going to the beach. Joe kept active and enjoyed playing games, such as cards and dice.
Besides his wife Brenda, he leaves his children Joseph Blasetti “Joey”, Kathleen “Cathy” Blasetti, and Amanda Keller-Parker and her husband David Parker; his grandchildren, John Blasetti, Lauren Blasetti, Brittany Blasetti, Joshua Garcia, Ava Keller, Aubri Parker. Russell Boughner, Jr. He was the grandfather of the late Joseph Blasetti, Jr. and brother of the late Lou Blasetti, John Blasetti, and Vera Hamilton.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday, February 9, 2026, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm, with a funeral service beginning at 6:30 pm, in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte. 123) Brockton.
