Bobby “Glen” Wilkes, II, 49, of Sylvester passed away Monday, January 26, 2026, at his residence. A visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Gordy New Bethel Baptist Church in Sylvester with a memorial service to be held at 11:00 a.m. The Rev. Trey Brown will officiate. Glen will be laid to rest at a later date.
Born May 6, 1976, in Moultrie, Glen was the son of Bobby Glen Wilkes, I and Brenda Sue Causey Wilkes of Sylvester. He was a self-employed contractor and owner of Glen Home Improvements of Sylvester.
Glen attended trade school and majored in electrical maintenance. He was a family man, and he loved spending time with his grandkids. Outdoor grilling was a great enjoyment to Glen, and he spent his leisure time playing video games.
In addition to his parents, Glen is survived by his wife, Donna Janney Wilkes of Sylvester; one daughter and son-in-law, Kristi and Shelvy Giddens of Sylvester; two brothers, Kile Wilkes of Sylvester and Kevin Wilkes of Leesburg; two grandchildren, Syrus Giddens and Kallie Giddens; his nephew, Dayton Wilkes; and his niece, Becca Wilkes.
