
James Kenneth Mobley, 58, of Irwinville, formerly of Tifton passed away Friday, January 23, 2026, at his residence. His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 26, 2026, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Glenn Ford officiating. Mr. Mobley will be laid to rest at Lawrence Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, January 26, 2026, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of the service.
Mr. Mobley’s family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Born January 15, 1968, in Brunswick, Mr. Mobley was the son of the late James Allen Mobley and Mildred Marjorie Harris Mobley. Before becoming disabled, he was the Manager at Dairy Queen in Tifton. He loved the Lord and worshipped as a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Tifton. He was a family man and loved his children and grandchildren with all his heart. His hobbies included fishing, and he loved the Florida State Seminoles and the Atlanta Braves.
Mr. Mobley is survived by his significant other, Lisa Gilroy of Irwinville; three sons, Daniel (Jennifer) Mobley of Irwinville, Stephen (Ashton) Hutton of Baxley and Justin (Julie) McFadden of Lorain, Ohio; three daughters, Savanah (Cody) Morris and Nikki (Danzel) Yancey, all of Ashburn and Janice Mobley of Tifton; one sister, RitaKay Gray of Brookfield; and nineteen grandchildren.
