Harry Rizer, Jr., 72, of Tifton passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at Tift Regional Medical Center. His funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, January 25, 2026, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Junior Stone officiating. Mr. Rizer will be laid to rest at Oak Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 25, 2026, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals from 2:00 p.m. until the hour of the service.
Born November 11, 1953, in Oakdale, Louisiana, Mr. Rizer was the son of the late Harry Rizer, Sr. and Aline Doyle Rizer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Brian Rizer. Before becoming disabled, he worked in the Receiving Department at GM International in Tifton. He loved the Lord and was of the Holiness faith. He loved to hunt and fish.
Mr. Rizer is survived by his wife, Elizabeth “Kay” Rizer of Tifton; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Tim Rizer of Arlington and Todd and Cherry Rizer of Albany; and one sister, Kathy Curry of Arlington.
