Travis Elbert Giddens, Jr., 60, of Tifton passed away Friday, January 16, 2026, at his residence. A memorial service will be held for Travis at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 24, 2026, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Earl Steffens officiating. Travis will be laid to rest at a later date at Enigma Cemetery.
Born March 13, 1965, in Thomasville, Travis was raised by Pauline Barfield, who he considered to be his mother. He was employed at Kelley Manufacturing Company; and he was a veteran of the United States Navy and served on a submarine. He enjoyed being an assistant in putting on wrestling shows with his cousin, Chad Barfield.
Travis is survived by his special friends, Tyron and Sandra Spearman of Tifton and his cousins, Chad Barfield, Michael A. Sorensen, Micheale Sorenson Johnson and Margaret Sorenson.
