Auburn: Joni (Sauers) Goodrow, 75, passed away peacefully on January 20, 2026 in UMASS Memorial Medical Center after a courageous battle with cancer. She leaves her husband of 38 years, Joel R. Goodrow, Sr.; sons George Steeves, Shawn Steeves, and Joel Goodrow, Jr.; several grandchildren and step daughter Jennifer Goodrow.
Joni was born in Ramsey, Minnesota, daughter of the late Robert and Sally May (Storberg) Sauers. She graduated from high school and owned and operated L & D Mobile Marine Company with her husband for many years. She enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially boating.
