Theresa J. (Dionne) Pinard, 99, passed away peacefully on January 19, 2026, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Theresa was born in Manchester NH on July 27, 1926. She attended St. Theresa elementary and graduated from St. Anthony high. She and her family lived in Manchester until 1972 when they built their forever home in Litchfield. While residing in Litchfield she was proud to run the school lunch program at Griffin Memorial School for over 20 years. She was recently presented with Litchfield’s Boston Post Cane award.
Throughout her life she enjoyed reading, sewing, knitting, bowling and Sundays with her family. Theresa and her husband Do had a love of traveling and square dancing.
She was pre-deceased by her husband of 72 years Fernando (Do), her sister Lorraine Pinard, brothers Alfred and Edward Dionne, and sons-in-laws Norman Paris and Jim Untiet.
Theresa is survived by her daughter Susan J. Paris, daughter & son-in-law Claire and David Richer, son and partner Norman Pinard and Sally Hatch, son Jean Pinard and daughter Annette Untiet. Her five grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be on Thursday, January 22, 2026 from 5 to 7 pm at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 23, 2026 at 10 am in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 9 St. Francis Way, Litchfield.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made In Theresa’s name to a charity of one’s choice.
