Steven C. Clifford, a longtime resident of Burlington, entered into eternal life unexpectedly on Sunday, January 18, 2026. He was 56 years of age.

Steven was born in Malden on June 29, 1969, a son of the late Attorney Charles A. "Buddy" Clifford and Veronica A. "Ronnie" (Walsh) Clifford. He grew up in Burlington where he attended the Burlington Public School system and graduated from Burlington High School in 1987. Steven furthered his education and received his Bachelor of Science degree from Franklin Pierce College in New Hampshire. Steven worked many years in the car industry as a manager.

Steven was a loving father and brother whose greatest accomplishments in life were his 2 children, Katherine and Jack Clifford. Steven's love for his children was evident in every part of his life, and his proudest moments were spent watching them grow and succeed.

He adored watching Katherine, known lovingly as Katie, perform on stage and often said with great pride that she inherited his musicality. Steven was equally proud of Jack, cheering him on as he played football and later supporting him wholeheartedly when Jack made the decision to enlist in the United States Air Force.

Steven's most enjoyable and meaningful moments were those spent with his children, whose achievements and happiness brought him immeasurable joy. He will be remembered for his deep love, quiet pride and unwavering devotion to his family.

Steven is the loving father of Katherine Virginia "Katie" Clifford and Airman First Class Jack Cash Clifford United States Airforce. He is the devoted brother of Carol Marino and her husband Joseph, Charles Michael Clifford and the late Attorney Linda Clifford. He is also survived by the mother of his children Kristen (Petrone) Clifford and several loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
