
NORTH GLENN, CO- Anna “Nonnie” Raymond age 63, loving mother of three, proud grandmother of five, adoring wife to Steve Raymond, passed away the 15th of January 2026. After a valiant battle of thirteen years with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis, she laid down her rose at the gates of heaven.
Anna was born on January 14, 1963, in Hartford CT. Devoted daughter to her surviving Mother Claudette Tremblay and her Late Father Emery Nadeau. She was one of 4 siblings. Predeceased sister Linda Bouchard. Survived by sister Carol Nadeau, and her brother Steve Tremblay. Anna was raised by her family to be a loving and caring woman, giving her time and dedication to those she cared for. Traits that left lasting effects on everyone she met.
After graduation from Community High School of Fort Kent, Anna dedicated her gifts to helping others by achieving CNA then Medical Assistant Certifications. A career she took pride in and was dedicated to for over 30 years until her own discovery of illness. Even then, in the face of uncertainty, her love and devotion kept her alive long past her original prognosis. She truly valued every moment and made every breath count.
Anna expressed often her gratitude finding her true love early in life in her other half, Steve Raymond. After their first date, love was undeniable. From that moment they worked together to build a foundation for their life and to come, their own family. The couple married on August 7, 1981, and cherished Forty-Four special years together.
Anna was a lover of music, fashion, animals, nature, especially the warm rays of sunshine that she basked in every chance she could. She also shared a wonder of adventure with her Husband Steve. Starting their family on the east coast then raising their children in the foothills of the Colorado Rocky Mountains, ultimately bestowing that same sense of adventure in them. As a mother she was a true champion, generous, and nurturing.
She is survived by her Loyal Husband Steve Raymond. Her eldest son Greg Raymond, his wife Kristal, their son Andru Raymond. Anna’s second son Brad Raymond, his wife Kerilynn, their two children Roy and Claire Raymond. Her Baby Bear, Daughter Chelsea Wood, her husband Benjamin and their daughters Bailee and Madison Wood. Her children and grandchildren were her most precious treasures in this life. The loss of her earthly presence is profound, but her spirit lives on in the memories created and the love she shared. Anna unknowingly left a legacy of love that will live on in her family for many generations to come.
There are no services planned at this time however family and friends are encouraged to gather for Mass at the Saint John Vianney Catholic Parish in Fort Kent, ME for the 9:00 AM Service on March 22nd, 2026.
