Rosalie L. (Nowe) Marcotte, 85, of Freetown, passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at Sacred Heart Home. She was the wife of Roger A. Marcotte for the past 35 years. She was previously married to Arthur V. Westgate (deceased).
Mrs. Marcotte was born in Beverly, MA, daughter of the late James A. and Muriel M. (MacDonald) Nowe, and had been a longtime resident of Freetown. She enjoyed spending time with her family and going to yard sales with Roger on their scooters.
Survivors, along with her husband, include her 2 sons: Arthur A. Westgate of Dartmouth and Paul J. Westgate of Middleboro, MA; her 2 daughters: Pamela A. (Westgate) Pina of Freetown and Colleen L. (Westgate) Gleavy of Lakeville; a sister: Sally L. Giaimo of NJ; 7 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; along with many nieces and nephews.
She was also the sister of the late Donald E. VanKnowe, Ronald C. VanKnowe, Albert VanKnowe, Bernard M. VanKnowe, Muriel A. Reiley, Harriet B. Powers, and Bonnie C. Kobialka.
