Janice G. DeVillers, 84, of Somerset, passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2025. She was a long-time resident of Westport and enjoyed the arts, spending time with her family and feline friends.
Survived by her former husband, Paul J. DeVillers, the father of her son, Ernest “Ernie” W. deVillers and his wife Ashely of Somerset; her granddaughters Natalie and Olivia; a sister: Sharon F. Andrade; nephews and niece.
Janice was preceded in death by her first husband, Leland Ashley, and their daughter Rachel. She was the beloved daughter of Ernest B. Waite and Emelda R. (Beaulieu) Waite.
A Celebration of Life, to which relatives and friends are invited, will be held Saturday, January 31 at 10:00am at Allen’s Neck Friends Meeting, 739 Horseneck Road, South Dartmouth. A reception, offering light refreshments and fellowship, will follow in the Meeting Hall.
Burial will be at Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport; date to be determined.
