
SANFORD – Leone Swett, age 67, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family, on January 12, 2026.
The daughter of William and Madeline Parker, Leone was born on November 6, 1958, in Saco, Maine.
She attended Massabesic High School and later in life pursued further education, earning her license as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Leone worked as a devoted CNA for many years at Seal Rock, where she cared deeply for those she served.
Leone was an avid member of the Eagles Club, where she enjoyed socializing and supporting benefit runs that gave back to her community. She also enjoyed watching her favorite television shows, including cooking shows, football, especially the New England Patriots, and soap operas, particularly Days of Our Lives. She always looked forward to her yearly Christmas shopping trips with her brother and sisters. In her younger years, she enjoyed bowling, and above all, she cherished spending time with her beloved family and friends, who will miss her dearly.
Leone is survived by her children: Jasen Swett and his significant other, Destiny Neal, Derek Swett and his wife, Olivia Swett, Tia DePeter and her husband, Tony DePeter and Samara Griffin and her husband, Michael Griffin. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jacob, Rachel, Madeline, Shaylee, Skylee, Elijah, and Bella, her great-grandchild, Dakota, her siblings, Faye Whitten, Billy Parker and his wife, Jennie Parker, Sharon Oliver and her husband, Stephen Oliver, as well as many nieces and nephews.
