Obituary

WESTBROOK- Steven Michael Harriman age 70, passed away on January 7, 2026, at his home with wife, son, daughter and son in-law by his side, after a 3-year battle with cancer.

He was born in Lewiston, Maine on September 9, 1955, son of the late John F. and Dorothy (Nay) Harriman.

He graduated from Westbrook High School and completed multiple certifications and a master’s license for Oil Burner Technician.

Went to work for a grocery chain and became head of the produce dept. In 1978 went to work for Sid Harvey’s, then joined his father’s heating business. Started his own business for 5 years. Retired in 2020 from Dead River Company as an Oil Burner Technician.

Steve was a Boy Scout for many years and achieved the highest honor of Eagle Scout in 1971. He enjoyed camping, fishing and hunting, and a fan of Nascar. He very much enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Always made everyone laugh and put a smile on their faces.

Steve is survived by his loving wife Rose (St.Cyr) Harriman of 47 years. His son Michael Harriman of Westbrook, daughter Amy (Harriman) Collins and husband Michael of Westbrook. His sisters Barbara (Harriman) Gaudreau and husband Stephen of Harrison, Deborah (Harriman) Rollins and husband Steven of Westbrook and a brother Ronald Harriman and wife Karen of Parsonsfield.
Steve had four grandchildren, James and Kaitlyn, and Brody and Bentley; very proud of all of them.
Multiple nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be determined at a later date.
