WORCESTER - Mr. Nicholas Caporelli, 72, passed away unexpectedly at his home on January 4th, 2026, with his wife Michele and loving family by his side. Nick was born June 29, 1953, in Worcester, Massachusetts. He is the son of the late Virginio “Gige” Caporelli and survived by his mother, Rita "Nana" (Postale) Caporelli. A lifelong resident of Worcester, Nick was a graduate of Worcester Boys Trade School and a postgraduate of WITI. He graduated as a machinist and worked at many CNC companies over his career.
He had a love for classic cars, collecting many over the years, a few he still had in his garages; his 1930 Ford Model A, 1974 Caprice Classic, 1971 the Impala Convertible, and 1999 Monte Carlo. Nick was an avid lover of all kinds of classic cars and "Cruising”. There was nothing better for him than taking his classic cars anywhere he could, especially his convertible. He could tell you everything and anything about his cars. He was a member of several local car clubs. If it wasn’t cars, his second favorite topic was food. But most of all his biggest joys where his two grandchildren and his new puppy Lily. He is survived by his loving mother Rita, his loving wife of 50 years, Michele (St. John) Caporelli; a son, Nicholas Caporelli Jr. and his wife Jaclyn; his daughter, Hollie Hammouda and her husband Mohammed; two grandchildren, Abraham and Saffiya Hammouda; a sister, Debra Mathews and her husband Stephen; a brother, Ralph Caporelli and his wife Michelle; and many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, great nephews, cousins, an uncle, and close friends. He was predeceased by his baby girl Jaqueline Caporelli, with whom he is reunited. His Celebration of Life, visiting hours will be Wednesday, January 14th from 10:30am to 11:30am at Fazio Funeral Home, 9 Branch St. Worcester. His burial will follow at St John’s Cemetery.
