Louis E. Nadeau, age 78, passed away on January 2, 2026 at Chicopee Rehab and Nursing Home. He was born on December 8, 1947 in Westfield, son of the late Raymond C. Nadeau and Marie Louise (Tremblay) Nadeau. Louis served in the US Air Force. He worked for the City of Springfield for many years and in the Department of Elder Affairs Training Program for 5 years before he retired. He is survived by his daughter Tara Harper and her husband John of Wilbraham; one brother, John Nadeau and his wife Patricia of Chicopee; two grandchild Kaleigh Harper and Kaia Marshall along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly. He is predeceased by his brother Raymond Nadeau and also by his sister-in-law Marilyn. A prayer service with military honors will take place on Friday, February 6, 2026 at 9 AM in the Chapel of the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Agawam.
