STANDISH- Anne West, age 91, passed away on January. 3, 2026, peacefully at her home with family and loved ones.
She was born in Concord, Massachusetts on May 25, 1934, daughter of John and Anna Bartleman. On August 17, 1952, she married Leon West. Together they relocated to Maine where they owned and operated several hotels in Old Orchard Beach.
In later years, Anne enjoyed the snowbird life, living in Maine for part of the year and Florida for the other part. She always enjoyed people watching at Disney Springs, watching fireworks at Epcot and the Killer Whales at Sea World. She would never pass up a trip to Foxwoods to play BINGO and never missed watching Daniel O'Donnell on Saturday evenings.
She is predeceased by her husband Leon who passed away in 2015, and her son Leon Russell West, who passed in 2009.
Anne is survived by her children- Deb Fectau and her husband Dennis of Standish, David West of Saco, William West of California, Patricia West of Connecticut and Ron West of New Hampshire, eight grandchildren- John, Geerah, Shane, Christopher, Tiffany, Max, Jessica, William and three great grandchildren.
