Wendell C. Jackson, 91

Wendell C. Jackson, age 91, of Mansfield, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 3, 2026 at Boston Medical Center-South in Brockton. He was the beloved husband of Suzanne (Winslow) Jackson, to whom he was wed on May 8, 1964.
Born in Saco, Maine on February 27, 1934, he was a son of the late Charles and Mary Jackson.
Wendell grew up in Maine and New Hampshire and during the time of the Korean War, proudly served his country as a member of the United States Air Force. He had made his home in Mansfield for the past sixty-one years and prior to retiring was the owner and operator of the Jackson Welding Company in East Mansfield.
A man with a lifelong passion for automobiles, Wendell loved antique cars, was a member of the MARCOM Car Club and loved attending NASCAR racing events. Wendell also enjoyed fishing, boating and hanging out with the guys at Honey-Dew Donuts in Mansfield.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his brothers, Wayne Jackson and his wife Patsy of Odessa, Texas and Charles Jackson of Clarksville, Tennessee.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend his graveside funeral service on Thursday, January 8th at 10:00 A.M. at the Rock Hill Cemetery, 81 South Street in Foxborough.
Visiting hours are omitted and those wishing may remember Wendell with a contribution in his memory made to the MARCOM Car Club, P.O. 164, Norton, MA 02766.
