
Mary D. (Williams) Mangsen, 96, died on Wednesday, December 31, 2025. She is survived by her daughter Dolores Gribouski and her husband Jeff, and her son Russell Mangsen and his wife Carol, as well as six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandson. She is also survived by her two sisters, Charlotte Murdock and Rita Remillard, her brother Harold Williams, and sister-in-laws Rose and Sandi Williams, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 63 years Everett Mangsen Sr., her sons Everett Jr and John, and several siblings.
She was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church, the Nordic Club of Worcester, the Rainbow Girls Advisory, the Blue Slipper Society, and the Eastern Star where she was a past Worthy Matron. She loved traveling with her husband across the United States and Canada in their motorhome, vacationing in Maine for a lobster dinner and wild blueberries, and spending time with her family. She worked in nursing, spending several years at St. Vincent’s Hospital. Mary will be remembered for her warm inviting personality and for her pride and love for her family.
Calling hours will be Saturday, Jan 3 from 10-11:30am at Nordgren Memorial Chapel at 300 Lincoln St with a service at Trinity Lutheran Church at 12pm at 73 Lancaster St. Burial will follow at Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton.
