Kenneth Heikkinen Jr., aged 61, of Groton passed away on November 17th at his home. He is survived by his wife Michelle Heikkinen.
He was born on March 7, 1964 in New London, CT to Kenneth Heikkinen Sr. and Marion (White) Heikkinen.
Kenneth spent his early life serving in both the US Army and Navy, with a total service time of 8 years. Kenneth dedicated his working life after the service to security, working 20 years in the CT Department of Corrections and 13 at Pilot’s Point Marina. He had just celebrated 20 years of marriage with his current wife Michelle Heikkinen.
Kenneth Heikkinen Jr. is survived by his parents Kenneth Heikkinen Sr. and Marion (White) Heikkinen. He is survived by his children Jennifer Heikkinen, Iole Heikkinen, and Sarah Heikkinen. He is survived by his siblings Debra Heikkinen, Donna Heikkinen, John Heikkinen (Candy), and Andrew Heikkinen. He is predeceased by his sister Diane Dyer.
