Obituary

Lucien R. Gingras, 63, of Woonsocket died peacefully Friday evening December 26, 2025 at Grandview Health Care Center in Cumberland surrounded by his loving family. He was the loving husband of Louise (Hetu) Gingras. They were married on September 7, 1985 and celebrated 40 years together this past September.
Born and raised in Woonsocket he was a son of the late Normand and Aline (Delorme) Gingras. He was a lifelong resident of the city and graduated from Woonsocket High School.

Lucien’s life revolved around his family. At any and all family activities Lucien was the number one supporter, official driver and all around cheer squad. From his son Adam’s sporting events to his daughter Kayla’s gymnastics. Continuing on to more recent years Lucien was the Grandpa on the sidelines as his grandchildren participated in their activities. Lucien also enjoyed bowling and family gatherings.

Although somewhat quiet and reserved upon first meeting someone, once he got to know you Lucien opened up and his cheerful and pleasant personality came right out.
