
PORTER- Jason Daniel Buddemeyer, age 50, passed away on December 21, 2025, at Maine Medical Center, after a 3-yr battle with cancer, which he fought valiantly right til the end.
He was born in San Diego, California to David and Susan (Dyer) Buddemeyer on March 5, 1975. His family moved to Maine when he was 8 yrs old, where they eventually settled in Porter. He graduated Sacopee Valley High School in 1993, where he was on the baseball team in 1992 where they won the Class C State Championship. He married Pamela Knox in 1997, and they had four children together.
Jason was a force of nature and enjoyed living and experiencing life. He loved sports, loved to have fun, was a hard worker and loved his family.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Pamela (Knox) Buddemeyer, his children - Joshua Buddemeyer and fiancé Sadie Carpenter of Porter, Autumn Buddemeyer of Porter, Emily Ramsdell and her husband, James of Buxton, and Tyler Buddemeyer of Porter. His three grandchildren, Dean, Miles, Luna, and one on the way, Nova. His parents, David and Susan Buddemeyer of South Hiram, his sister, Jillinda Ireland and her husband, James of Scarborough, brother Jamie Buddemeyer, and his wife Samantha of Hawaii, brother Jody Buddemeyer and his wife Ashley of Utah, and brother Justin Buddemeyer parts unknown, as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, and several nieces and nephews
A celebration of life will take place on January 1st, 2026 starting at 2pm at the American Legion Hall Post 123 at 39 Mountain View Ave, Porter, Me. 04068.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute and The New England Cancer Center.
