Donna (Leonard) Medeiros, age 71, of Taunton, passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2025 at the Morton Hospital in Taunton.
Born in Oak Bluffs, Martha’s Vineyard on August 18, 1954, she was a loving daughter of the late Edward M. and Janet L. (Libby) Reynolds.
A resident of Taunton for most of her life, Donna grew up in the silver city and was educated in Taunton Public Schools. Prior to retiring, she had worked as a packer at the former Texas Instruments in Attleboro, a job she truly loved.
Spending time amongst family and friends, always made Donna happiest. She enjoyed trips to Foxwoods Casino, playing bingo, working and building things with her hands and was fondly known to all as “mother”. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her devoted sons, Manuel Medeiros, III and his wife Aimee of Providence and Edward Leonard and his girlfriend Dawn of Taunton. She was the cherished grandmother of Chris Leonard and his girlfriend Alix of Texas, Josh Leonard and his wife Tabitha of Colorado and Kourtney Medeiros and her boyfriend Evan of Maine. She was the dear sister of the late Donald Leonard, Jr., Arthur Leonard and John Leonard.
Visiting hours, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Tuesday, December 23rd from 3:00-5:00 P.M. at the Norton Memorial Funeral Home, 19 Clapp Street (Off Route 140, Taunton Avenue) Norton.
Her graveside funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 24th at 11:00 A.M. at the Nemasket Hill Cemetery, 515 Plymouth Street, Middleboro. Those attending the services are asked to go directly to the cemetery on Wednesday morning.
