Marie Anitte Ceus, 72, of Brockton, passed away on December 9th at Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital.
She was born in Léogâne, Haiti, the daughter of the late Walter Ceus and Celina Ceus. Marie worked as a merchant in Haiti, selling retail goods within her community. She loved attending church, participating in church activities, and helping others in the community. Her faith, generosity, and gentle spirit touched everyone who knew her.
Marie is survived by her two sons, Mystral Toussaint and Stivens Paraison; her daughter, Manfreda Gustama; her brothers, Val Ceus and Seneck Ceus; her sisters, Uliese Ceus, Louise Ceus, Denise Ceus, and Marie Ulia Ceus; eight grandchildren; Mackaylla Gustama, Kalayna Gustama, Adriana Toussaint, Camden Toussaint, Myslandie Toussaint, Danisha Toussaint, Zayla Toussaint, and Narlens Paraison and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel, 238 Court Street, Brockton, on Sunday, December 28th, from 5–8 p.m.
Viewing will be held in the Brockton Church of God, 80 Pleasant Street Brockton on Monday, December 29th at 9 am. Funeral Services to follow at 10:30 am. Burial will follow in Melrose Cemetery, 88 N. Pearl Street, Brockton.
