
Barbara V (Struzinski) Hogan, 91 of Danvers, passed away peacefully at the Kaplan Family
Hospice House in Danvers following a brief illness. Barbara has been residing at the Elizabeth Calsey House in Amesbury, for the past several years where she enjoyed coffee and activities with friends and family. She will miss her lunches with the ladies there.
Barbara had shared 57 years of marriage with her husband Richard “Dick” Hogan of Danvers, until he passed away in 2018. She was a devoted wife to Dick and mother of her two children, Richard P. and Barbara D.
She was one of eight children born in Salem, Ma. She lived on Hodges Court and loved her time near Derby’s Wharf with friends, family and a large Polish community growing up. She attended St. Joseph Polish School and Parish in Salem, Ma.
She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Marianna Struzinski of Salem, Ma and former brothers and sisters: Harriet Wasak, Edward Struzinski, Genevieve Wasak, Constance DiVirgilio, Louise Struzinski, Caroline McCormick and Kaszmier Struzinski.
Barbara worked at CBS Company in Salem in the 1950’s, Foot Delight and she was a shoe model. She also enjoyed working at Almys Department Store in Salem, MA.
Barbara was a beloved mother and caretaker of many. She was a devoted member of St. Alphonsus Parish formerly in Danvers, MA and St. Mary’s Parish in Danvers, MA. Barbara was an avid reader, loved cross stitch, and a member of her parish choir. She was always there to help others and was an amazing baker.
She is survived by her son, Richard P Hogan and his wife Diane of Marblehead and her daughter, Barbara D Carnevale and her husband Jeffrey of Rowley, MA. She has one granddaughter, Jennifer Carnevale of Portland, ME (formerly of Salem, Ma). She has three grandsons; Shamus and Shea Hogan of Marblehead, MA and Shane Hogan and his wife Jessica of Swampscott, Ma. She has two lovely great grandchildren, Eva and Elsa Hogan of Swampscott, MA.

Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, from 8:30 to 10:00 AM, at the Levesque Funeral Home, 163 Lafayette St. [Route 114 / 1-A} Salem, followed by her Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary of the Annunciation Church 24 Conant St., Danvers, MA at 11:00 AM.
