Gerald F. DesRochers, 82, died December 10, 2025 following a brief illness.
He was born in Manchester on September 28, 1943 and raised by Arthur and Marie Ange Plourde.
He graduated from St. Anthony High School, Class of 1962.
He proudly served his country in the Air National Guard.
Prior to his retirement he was a warehouseman for Supervalu.
He held membership in the Elks Lodge 2606, Punta Gorda, FL., Teamsters Local 42, Andover, MA., a parishioner of St. Luke Catholic Church, Middleburg, FL., as well as a former parishioner of St. Elizabeth Seton Church.
Family members include his loving wife of 60 years, Cecile (Saindon) DesRochers , four children; Michelle Harkins and her husband Joseph, Celeste DesRochers, all of Jacksonville, FL., Cynthia Rocha of Manchester, Jeffrey DesRochers and his husband, Eric Aarons of Atlanta, GA., six grandchildren, five great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by one sister; Agnes Beaulieu and two brothers; Robert DesRochers and Paul Huard.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, December 18, 2025 from 4 to 7 pm at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, December 19, 2025 at 10 am in St. Elizabeth Seton Church, Meetinghouse Rd, Bedford.
