Obituary: Donna M. Rawding
Donna Mae Rawding, 80, was born and lived in Worcester her entire life. She passed away, December 4, 2025; in hospice care at Milford Gardens, Milford, MA. She leaves her son, Craig H. Rawding, who was her caretaker over the last five years at home; her brothers, Herbert LaMonda and his wife Kathy; Mark LaMonda and his wife Caroline of California. Several nieces and nephews.
She was a graduate of Commerce High School, Fanning Trade School where she completed a course for Surgical Technician. She received a Certificate of Meritorias Achievement from the National Association of Operating Room Techinicians. She retired from Hahnemann Hospital and the Worcester Surgical Center.
Donna enjoyed reading, watching sports events, movies and western tv shows. Music was another love of hers.
Being housebound for years, she would like to thank those who gave their time and care for her in her final years of life; from the Nurses, CNAs, family and friends who shopped, cooked, cleaned and visited. These people made life enjoyable, brought laughter and joy into her home with every visit. Her wit kept everyone on their toes.
Her parents, Herbert and Dorothy LaMonda, brothers Barry and Bruce LaMonda, and her partner Sylvia Gibree, all pre-deceased her.
A calling hour will be held on Monday December 15, 2025 from 10-11 a.m. in Nordgren Memorial Chapel 300 Lincoln St. Worcester, MA 01605. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton.
