of Brockton, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her own home on Dec 2, 2025.

Along with 8 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her loving husband George, her parents Thomas and Anna Drudy and her siblings Thomas “Joe” Drudy, Mary Clark and Patricia Thibeault.
Anna was born in Boston, grew up in Watertown and graduated from St Patrick’s High School. After completing courses in The Katherine Gibbs Secretarial Program, she worked in the offices of
The Star Market. In 1952, she married George and in 1957, they moved to Brockton to raise their young family. Anna spent the next 68 years in that house on Kathleen Rd and made life-long friends with neighbors and many in the community.
After her husband’s untimely death and raising their 5 children, Anna returned to the workforce -
first, as an aide at the PussyCat PreSchool/Kdg, then onto the Brockton Public School System and finally ending her career, working for many years at the United States Postal Offices in Abington and Brockton.
Not one to “lounge around”, Anna liked to keep busy. So after retiring, she volunteered for many years at St Joseph’s Manor in the Activities Dept. She enjoyed working with the residents and often said that she got more from them than she gave.
Anna loved to spend time with her family and friends. She enjoyed crafts, was a good cook (known for her chocolate chip cookies, apple pies and macaroni salad) an avid reader and enjoyed traveling.
Over her 97 years, Anna touched many lives, made many friends and will be sorely missed.
Her family would like to thank her caregiver, Maria and the staff at Old Colony Hospice for their kindness, care and support.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Old Colony Hospice, 321 Manley St, W Bridgewater MA 02379, The Charity Guild, P.O.Box 4856, Brockton MA 02302-4856 or a charity near and dear to your heart.
