Angelnell “Angie” Payne Woodard, 67, of Tifton passed away Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at her residence. Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 5, 2025, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Shane Douglas officiating. Mrs. Woodard will be laid to rest at Turner Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Enigma. The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 4, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Chris Taylor, Preston Taylor, Ricky Hill, Hunner Taylor, Gunner Taylor, and Tunner Taylor will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be employees of Prestolite Wire in Tifton.
Born March 27, 1958, in Alma, Mrs. Woodard was the daughter of the late Ardelia Dillard Payne Mixon. She attended Berrien County Schools and finished the 10th grade when she was 17 years old. She enjoyed shopping and spending time with family and her fur babies. She worked at Prestolite Wire in Tifton for 28 years as an assembler in the Shipping Department and was then a homemaker. She had a green thumb and loved working with her flowers.
Mrs. Woodard is survived by her husband, Gary Woodard, who she married on July 12, 1975; two sons, Michael Woodard and Timothy (Jeri) Woodard, all of Tifton; three grandsons, Brayden (Madison) Goeppinger and Cody Black, all of Ray City and Cordale Black of Tallahassee, Florida; four sisters, Bonnell Ridgeway and Shirley Hancock, both of Alapaha, and Gale (Bobby) Wood and Gloria (Harmon) Tawzer, all of Tifton; and her beloved fur babies, Daisy, DeeDee, Starr-man and Midnight.
