In Remembrance of Kevin J. Ducharme
Kevin J. Ducharme, a lifelong resident of Webster, gifted craftsman, and local entrepreneur, passed away on Sunday, November 23, 2025, at the age of 68.
Born in Worcester on April 12, 1957, to the late Ernest W. and Vivian R. (Kuszewski) Ducharme, Kevin was a graduate of the Bartlett High School class of 1975. To those who knew him well, he was a man of many talents. In his younger years, he was known for his goofy sense of humor, and he possessed a remarkable ability to solve any mechanical puzzle placed before him. This natural skill for understanding how things worked defined much of his life.
He channeled this talent into his career, becoming the owner and operator of Creative Marine and Creative Fireplace in North Oxford. For many years, he applied his strong work ethic to these ventures, which he ran until his retirement in 2022. He was the person called in an emergency, ready to help when it mattered most.
Kevin had a deep appreciation for Webster Lake and was an avid sportsman who enjoyed boating, fishing, and the thrill of snowmobiling. Though he faced significant struggles with physical illness in his later years, he continued to work for the things he was passionate about.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Elizabeth M. (Marc) Ducharme; his two daughters, Jennifer M. Ducharme (John Tel Butler) of Chicago, and Julie A. Ortega (James) of Boston; and his nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Ronald, and his sister Janice.
A memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, December 13th at 11am at Saint Louis Church, Webster, MA, 14 Lake Street. The family will receive friends and relatives in the church before the Mass, beginning at 10:30 AM.
