Obituary

Alexander Daniel Iannitelli, age 94, of West Bridgewater, died peacefully on November 28th, 2025, at St. Joseph’s Manor in Brockton. Alex was married in 1958 to Beverly (Stubbs) Iannitelli, and was her loving husband for 61 years.

Born and raised in Milford, MA, he was the son of the late Ernest and Teresa (Gallassini) Iannitelli. He was a 1949 graduate of Milford High School and enlisted in the Air Force during the Korean War. Alex was a longtime communicant, lector and CCD teacher at St. Ann's Church, West Bridgewater. He was always active and, in addition to working in the electronics industry for most of his career, he filled his weekends going to dance at Mosley’s with Beverly, working in his yard and house, and taking his family for long walks together along shorelines and in the woods. Together with Beverly he enjoyed taking art classes and painting with oils.

He will be remembered for his quiet ways, sincere concern for everyone, desire to help, self-sacrifice and devotion to the Catholic faith. He was unwavering in his values of decency and untiring in his care for others.

Alex was the father of Christopher and Anne Iannitelli of West Bridgewater, David and Leda Iannitelli of Brewster and Jean Pombo and her husband Stephen of Brewster. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Pasqual, Louie, Mary Altieri, Phyllis Tocchi and Anna Iacovelli Iannitelli. The family wishes to extend sincere thanks to every kind heart at St. Joseph’s Manor and to Brockton VNA Hospice for the loving care and compassion shown to Alex during his final years of life.

Visiting hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street, (Rte 123), Brockton, on Wednesday, December 3rd, from 9 – 10:30am., followed by a funeral procession to his Funeral Mass at 11:30am at Holy Cross Church, 225 Purchase Street, South Easton. Burial will be held on Thursday, December 4th at 9:30am in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
