
Leonidas H. "Leo" Biliouris, 83 of Worcester, died, Saturday November 29th in his home, surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his lifelong partner, Helen (Missios) Biliouris. His three daughters, Rana and her husband, Christopher George of Worcester, Dianna Reza of Needham and Elisabeth and her husband, Anastasios Zahariadis of Worcester; five grandchildren, Dorian George, Dillon George, Sophie Zahariadis, Farrah Reza and Niko Reza and two great-grandsons, Christopher George and Jack George. He also leaves his sister-in-law, Grace Biliouris and his three nieces, Maria Hicks, Christina Brunk and Joanna Biliouris all of Raleigh, NC, as well as his extended family of nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother, Chrisilios Biliouris.
He was born in Worcester, the son of Heracles and Areti (Liti) Biliouris and was a graduate of the former Classical High School. He was a man of many talents and worked as a radio announcer at WARE a radio station in Ware, MA, was an owner of the Miles Press and an entrepreneur and restaurateur who owned the Odessey Restaurant in Worcester among others. Leo enjoyed dining out, but his greatest joy was time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandsons. He was a longtime member of St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Cathedral and a former member of the Order of AHEPA. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
His funeral will be held on Wednesday, December 3rd at 11:00 a.m. in St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 102 Russell Street, Worcester. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery. A period of visitation will be held on Wednesday morning, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service in St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Cathedral.
