Obituary

Manuela moved through this world with a spirit that didn’t whisper… it shined. Genuine at her core and tender in the way she loved, she carried a warmth that settled into people and stayed. Family was her foundation, her joy, her home. Whether exploring in the woods or exploring through her sister’s closets as if they held hidden treasures, she lived with curiosity, intention, and a steady light.

Her presence was a blessing you felt before she ever spoke. The kind that lingers. The kind that leaves the heart changed. She touched more lives than any list could capture. If your name isn’t written here, understand this: it’s only because her love stretched far too wide to be contained on a single page. She loved many, and many loved her back.

Manuela is survived by her father Manuel Ruiz, her mother Victoria Sales, her sister Griseliz Glenn, and her brother Adriel Anaya.

She remains in the hearts of her nephews — Hasaan, Amaan, Kaivon, Jahsai, and Zayvien Fernandez' — and her nieces — Kailisha, Kasaiya Fernandez, and Rosa Anaya. She is honored by countless cousins, her godmother Reina, her beloved aunts, uncles, and extended family.

Her story doesn’t end here.
It lives on in every life she touched, every person she lifted, and every heart she left with a little more hope.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2025 from 6 to 8 pm at J.N. Boufford & Sons, 110 Bridge St.
