Michael R. Roy, 69, formerly of Westport, passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2025 at JML Care Center in Falmouth, MA following a courageous battle with cancer. He was the son of Lorraine M. (Holland) Roy of Westport and the late William R. Roy.
Mike was born in Fall River and had resided in Westport for many years. A veteran of the U.S. Army he served his country during the Vietnam War. He started his working career in the security industry as a field technician at Diebold and worked in the field for over 40 years at Diebold, Redhawk Fire & Security and ADT Commercial. He was a well respected sales executive for ADT Commercial serving the New England area. Mike enjoyed the outdoors, woodworking and had a passion for golfing.
Survivors along with his mother include his sister: Deborah A. Ledoux and her husband Denis of Westport; along with his work family and many friends.
He was the brother of the late David Roy.
Graveside service to which relatives and friend are invited will be Friday, December 5, 2025 at Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne at 12:45 P.M.
