Billy Lewis Cooper, 78, of Brookfield passed away Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at Regency Hospital in Macon. His funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, November 22, 2025, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Christopher House officiating. A eulogy will be given by Larry Walker. Mr. Cooper will be laid to rest at Tift Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals from 2:00 p.m. until the hour of the service.
Mike Sumner, Gage Sumner, Micheal Hayes, Zack Railey, Roy Cooper and Ely Cooper will serve as pallbearers.
Born February 3, 1947, in Colquitt County, Mr. Cooper was the son of the late Sam Cooper and Lillie Mae Lumley Milner. Before retiring, he was employed at Tifton Aluminum Company for 35 years and was also the owner of Cooper Design and Construction Company.
Mr. Cooper is survived by his wife, Glendia Almand Cooper of Brookfield; one daughter, Karen Cooper Hayes of Brookfield; one sister, Bonnie Odom of Moultrie; and two grandchildren, Claudia Hayes and Gabe Hayes.
