Gloria M. (Medeiros) Reiniche, 89, of New Bedford, passed away on Thursday, November 13, 2025 at The Oaks. She was the daughter of the late Manuel Medeiros, Jr. and the late Mary (Chaves) Medeiros.
Ms. Reiniche was born in New Bedford and had resided in the city for most of her life. She enjoyed gardening, reading and art. A social butterfly, she especially loved being in the company of loved ones, spending time outdoors and walking.
Survivors include her 2 daughters: Debra A. Downing Reiniche of IL and Linda Plante of Bristol, RI; 5 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was the mother of the late Jules Robert Reiniche III.
Funeral service to which relatives and friends are invited will be Saturday, December 6, 2025 at the Kirby Funeral Home at 11:00 A.M.
Visitation will be Saturday, December 6, 2025 from 10:30-11 A.M., prior to the service.
Interment to follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, New Bedford.
