Ralph Joseph Auger November 17, 1942 – November 11, 2025


Ralph Joseph Auger, of West Bridgewater, passed away on November 11, 2025. Ralph was born in Braintree and was the son of the late Norman F. Auger and Bernetta Auger (Dodge) (Merritt).

Ralph lived in West Bridgewater for 40yrs with dear sister, Norma. He was very close to his brother Al and niece/nephews Chris, Rick, Bob, Robby and their children. Ralph had many good times growing up in Braintree. He graduated from Braintree High School in the 1960’s. He was an avid Boston Red Sox, Celtics, BC Football & Basketball Fan; enjoyed horse & dog racing; loved going to Nantasket Beach w/family; and had a life-long love of Hot Rods.

Ralph had a long, successful career in the sheet metal industry. He held positions in management and quality control for a number of companies including Plant Superintendent of Allan Metal Fabrication.

Ralph was one of twelve children and is predeceased by nine siblings: John Auger, Ruth Maher, Eleanor Creeden, David Auger, George Auger, Norman Auger, Norma Mills, Peggy Ann Auger, and Alfred Auger.

Ralph is survived by his nephews, nieces: David Damon and wife Terry of Easton, Christine Sigren and husband Robert of Middleboro, Richard Damon and wife Kathleen of Rehoboth, and Robert Holyoke of Maine. Ralph is also survived by his siblings Marjorie Mitchell, Frank Auger & Valerie St. Jean and grand-nieces/nephews: Jennifer, Jimmy & Terence, Shauna & Ryan, Ashley & Ella, Robby & Jessica. Ralph also leaves behind several great nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visiting hours Sunday, November 16, from 2-5pm at Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont St, Brockton. His funeral Mass will be held Monday, November 17, at 10am at St. Ann's Church, 103 N Main St, West Bridgewater, with burial at Pine Hill Cemetery, West Bridgewater.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Ralph may be made to the Jimmy Fund.



EPITAPH:
I, Ralph J. Auger, wish to thank everybody that has ever helped me along the path in life, especially the late John Leetch, the one man I always looked up to. To my family, friends and sweetheart Dorothy, please keep me in your thoughts. Also, I wish to thank every congressional medal of honor winner, I salute you!! I hope someday Peggy, Al, Norma and I are together again. To my niece/nephews, grandnieces/nephews & Dorothy, please take care of yourselves. I will miss you all.
