Kenneth Michael Ritchie passed away at his home on November 11, 2025, following a battle with cancer. Ken was born on September 11, 1950, in Boston. He was predeceased by his parents, Marilyn Cannon and James Cannon.
Ken was a graduate of Brockton High School. He met his wife Mary Jane (Ott) Ritchie while working at Brockton Hospital. Ken was attending college and Mary Jane was attending Nursing School at Brockton Hospital. They recently celebrated 49 years of marriage.
Ken enjoyed golfing. He was a lifetime member and past president of Brockton Country Club.
He was the loving father of Megan Williams and her husband Erik, and Daniel Ritchie and his wife Sabrina. Ken was the loving Bapa of Finn, Yvie, and Iris Williams, and Leona, Daniel, and Josephine Ritchie. He was the brother of Robert Ritchie, Johnny Ritchie and wife Rose Anne, Brian Cannon and wife Sue, Russel Cannon and wife Linda, Karen McMenamy and her late husband Larry McMenamy, Janet Herman and husband Joe, Nancy Ritchie, and the late David Ritchie . He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held at the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont St (Rte 123) Brockton, on Tuesday, November 25th from 10am-12noon, with a Memorial Service to begin at 12noon.
