Shirley (Baillargeon) Simpson, 79, of Spencer, died on Monday, November 10th in Webster Manor Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. She leaves her partner of 50 years, Warren Niedzwiecki; her son, Thomas Simpson, Jr. and his wife, Tracey of Spencer; a daughter, Meghan Simpson of California; many grandchildren, great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by four daughters, Deborah Beauregard, Cheryl Simpson, Pamela Hunderup, and Paula Simpson; and a sister, Patricia Simpson.
She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Oscar and Genevieve (Przestrzelski) Baillargeon. Shirley worked as a machinist at Lincoln Precision for many years. She enjoyed playing bingo, cards, and taking trips to the casino. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.
Her funeral services are private and at the convenience of the family. O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, is assisting the family with arrangements.
