Julie Ann Pelletier, 54, of South Tamworth, New Hampshire, passed away surrounded by family and close friends at Salem Hospital on Friday, October 31, 2025, after a lifelong battle with cancer.
The daughter of Vincent and Leona (Ouellette) Pelletier, Julie was born and raised in Salem. She was a proud graduate of Salem High School, Class of 1988, as well as Salem State College and Northeastern University. Julie spent her professional years working in accounts receivable for Michaud Bus Lines, Osram Sylvania, and most recently, Lupine Collars and Leads.
Julie will always be remembered for her love of family and friends, the Boston Bruins, Penguins, Marvin the Martian, Snowflakes, and so much more. She treated everyone with kindness and never let a holiday or birthday pass without a thoughtful card or gift. She was a surrogate “Auntie” to many children of her large circle of friends. Julie was one of the strongest, most thoughtful, and most considerate people—always putting others before herself, right until the end. She faced four battles with cancer throughout her life and met each one with fierce determination, positivity, and humor.
Julie was predeceased by her parents, Leona and Vincent Pelletier, and her sister-in-law Wendy Burge. She is survived by her brothers, Kevin and Scott Pelletier; her sister-in-law Cyndi Pelletier; nieces Kayla Machado and Genevieve Pelletier; nephew Tyler Pelletier; and great-niece Hazel Machado. She also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, and friends who were truly like family. Julie is also survived by her fiancé, Tom Fielder, and her beloved pets—Tosh, Rosie, and Trixie.
Relatives and friends are invited to her calling hours at the Levesque Funeral Home, 163 Lafayette St. [Route 114 / 1-A] Salem on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM.
