Ronald Alan Stoner, 64, of Sandown, NH has graduated from life into eternal life on Sunday October 26, 2025 in Parkland Medical Center, Derry, NH. Ron was born on November 9, 1960 in Harrisburg, PA, a son of the late William C. and Doris (Shutt) Stoner. For the past 37 years, Ron has lived in Sandown in the wonderful home he worked to build and maintain for his family.
Ron was, above all things, deeply caring and committed both to his family and friends, and all that he set his hands to. He was a diligent worker and always made sure his loved ones could enjoy all they needed and more, bearing every burden he could so that the ones he loved did not have to. No matter how hard Ron worked, or how tired he may have been, he never said no to helping in whatever way he could. Ron gave of himself to the world around him constantly, without fail or limit, and most of all to his family whom he loved so fiercely. Ron's life is a life marked by love and selfless giving of all that he had and was to the people around him. He leaves behind a legacy and testimony of what such a selfless and loving life can look like. In this, Ron will always be remembered.
Ron enjoyed cutting trees along with mowing and maintaining his lawn, along with throwing some jokes and sarcasm around to give the people he was with a smile and a laugh. There would scarcely be a day where he would not be found outside maintaining his yard and finding immense joy in doing so. Every evening, he would be found with his wife enjoying their time together. In many ways Ron was a simple family man, and the greatest joys he had in life was found at home.
Ron will be deeply missed by his beloved wife of 37 years, Patricia (Flanagan) Stoner, his children, Cara Emond and her husband Eric, James Stoner and his wife Joyce, and his granddaughter to be, Eden Esther Stoner, as well as many extended family.
There are no services planned at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the family and will be put into a fund for his granddaughter Eden. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry, NH, is assisting the family.
